YOTEL NEW YORK

YOTEL NEW YORK

Hello loves! I’m back with a recap of my stay at YOTEL New York while in New York City!

First things first, check-in was a breeze. You will find self check-in kiosks as soon as you enter the hotel on the first floor. I made use of these! I entered the required information and the machine quickly printed out the cabin keys. So simple! Can’t say that enough! If you prefer the traditional check-in process then you can head up to Mission Control on the 4th floor where the reception desk is located. Upon entering the hotel, you’ll also find the YOBOT to your right. YOBOT is a luggage storing robot! How unique is that?!

With keys in hand, it was time to go check out the ‘cabin.’ YOTEL New York was inspired by a luxury aircraft design so the rooms are referred to as cabins. Space is maximized through the use of modern and smart furniture. We stayed in the Premium Queen View cabin for one night and loved it. The bed is an adjustable SmartBed and can be turned into a couch which is great for when you need more space.

Across from the bed you will find the “techno wall” with a wall-mounted flatscreen TV that can connect to your devices, a plug for your phone/iPad, a holder to place your smaller sized belongings, and the control point for adjustable mood lighting. A tray-table is stowed-away next to the bed. It was too cold to go outside so we ordered in and the tray-table definitely came in handy! There is also a desk and office-style chair which are perfect for getting some work done, etc. You will find two different spots to hang your clothes. You can also store away your luggage under the bed as to maximize space.

The bathroom consists of a monsoon shower, a sink and mirror with great lighting, a safe, an iron, a sliding glass door to the toilet, and a curtain that can separate the bedroom and bathroom for more privacy. Here you will also be able to take in great views of Manhattan.

Now let’s talk location, location, location! YOTEL New York is located in Midtown Manhattan on the corner of 10th Ave and West 42nd St. It is a short walk away from Times Square and the subway. So convenient! We had a great stay at YOTEL New York and would definitely stay here again.

With Love, Maria ♡

I’d like to thank YOTEL New York for hosting my stay. As always, all opinions are my own.
