THE INS & OUTS OF EUROPE
Hey muffins! We will be walking you through our trip to Europe! We got to experience Italy, Switzerland, England, and Spain! Experiencing these cultures was phenomenal and of course we must mention the highlights of our trip. Ready? Let’s go!
1. LA BELLA ITALIA
We landed in Milano and hit the streets of this beautiful city. When visiting Milano remember to stop by and take a picture with the must-see Duomo di Milano! Such a beauty!
We made our way to Lake Como where the picturesque landscape leaves you in awe!
Our next destination in Italy was VENICE! One of the most romantic and beautiful cities in the world. Here you can take in the breath-taking sights of a city floating on water. The streets are made up of water where cabs turn into boats or even better gondolas (perfect for the love birds out there!) as a form of transportation.
Locals and tourists all make their way to Basilica di San Marcos. Also a must-see!
Next we visited Genova! If you’re looking to find tiny secluded beaches where locals gather to tan and take a dip then this is your place! We swam in the Mediterrean Sea. Also, the port is one of it’s biggest attractions.
2. SERENE SWITZERLAND
Let us just say, WE LOVE SWITZERLAND! The serenity and the cleanniness of this country is amazing. Our favorite stop here was Lake Lugano. Just look at these backdrops!!!
3. LOCO FOR LONDON
We stayed in Grand Royale Hyde Park. Would we recommend it? Yes. We were conviniently a few minutes away from Notting Hill where we dined at Prince Albert Pub and grabbed dessert across the street at Manzara Resturant.
And of course what’s a trip to London without checking out Big Ben and the London Eye?!
4. SPAIN
We landed in Barcelona and the warm weather was just perfect. We explored and visited Fuente Magica.
We had to have a Spaniard brunch and we did just that at Apat’s, amazing! The euro feels of this place were on point. We would go back to Spain just for this place! Definitely recommend, don’t forget to order a pitcher of their Sangria 😉
Looking for a beach in Barcelona? Well Barceloneta is where we ended up. Ordered Piña Coladas and soaked up the sun, don’t mind if we do!
Then there was Madrid. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
We strolled around the city where thousands of people enjoy the liveliness of the city at night time.
The next morning we walked into Costello Rio for brunch. Their pancakes and waffles are everything (mostly their waffles) 😉
For the soccer fans out there, you will find two of the greatest teams here. Barcelona or Madrid, you pick. For Barcelona visit Camp Nou. For Madrid visit Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Sad to leave Europe but happy to head home to NYC, we headed to the airport first thing in the morning and had breakfast at Caffe Di Fiore inside the airport. Hey, we love our coffee!
