Café Pedlar is one of those neighborhood spots that just make you want to keep coming back for more. First impressions are everything and they nailed it! Hospitality was on point, natural light was on point, coffee was on point. Really, what more could you ask for? Try their lattes, hot or iced. They use Stumptown Coffee, you won’t be disappointed. P.S. Their pastries are also out of this world.
2. Konditori

One word: GO! We had the loveliest visit to Konditori. When we entered it was hustling and bustling. The vibe was electrifying as people came and went or steadily worked behind their laptops. If you love all things Swedish then you need to not walk but run here. We got to try their Swedish cold and hot pours, both of which were nothing short of amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed our lattes. You can’t really go wrong here. There is something for everyone. Hot pour, cold pour, fresh pastries, and an assortment of juices and shakes, you name it. The options are endless!
3. Blue Bottle Coffee
85 Dean St, Boerum Hill, NY 11201

Where to begin? Everything we tried was SUPERB. Latte? Check. Iced New Orleans? Check. Cappuccino? Check. Double chocolate cookie? Check. You get the point. We were beyond impressed with the amazing staff, lovely environment, and excellent coffee. This is hands down a must-try coffee shop. It’s all about quality here. We visited the Boerum Hill location which happens to be a smaller location but serves a great variety of coffee and pastries. There is limited seating at the window counter overlooking Dean St. but there are benches outside for those warmer months. If you’re on the go and need a cup of joe don’t hesitate to stop by, the line moves quickly.
4. The Brooklyn Roasting Company
25 Jay St, Brooklyn, NY 11201

When there’s a line out the door you must be doing something right. This not so secret spot is not one to miss. We opted for a latte and loved it! There are couches, high tables, and benches available to those who wish to sit back and relax or get some work done. Also, they have a great and welcoming staff. We were greeted with a smile and felt right at home.
5. Sweatshop
232 Metropolitan Ave, Williamsburg, NY 11211

On our visit to Sweatshop we tried a latte w/ Soy milk. It was very tasty. Not only is their coffee delicious but the coffee shop as a whole gives a hipster vibe that you’ll love; if you’re into that. We loved it! Inside you’ll find one long table and three small tables with decorative table tops (one of which reads “Death Before Decaf,” and in that moment we knew we would get along). There is also a cute little patio out front if you want to enjoy your coffee al fresco.
p.s. You can find some of these coffee shops on the CUPS app. Make sure to use the code “W4PLX” for a free cup of coffee and $10 added to your CUPS account. 🙂
